Arrival in Gangtok

Gangtok to Lachung
 

  • Drive to Lachung:

    • Altitude: 8,610 ft (2,624 m)

    • Scenic drive through North Sikkim with stops for photography and sightseeing.

  • On the Way:

    • Seven Sisters Waterfall: A picturesque waterfall with seven streams.

    • Kabi Lunchok: A stone pillar commemorates the signing of the treaty between the Lepcha chief Thekong Tek and the Bhutia chief Khey Bumsa. The site symbolizes peace and unity among the different ethnic groups in Sikkim.

 

  • Arrive in Lachung:

    • Check into your hotel or homestay.

  • Overnight stay in Lachung

Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Sanglaphu Lake
 

  • Yumthang Valley:

    • Altitude: 11,693 ft (3,564 m)

    • Explore the "Valley of Flowers," known for its vibrant alpine flora and hot springs.

  • Sanglaphu Lake (Zero Point):

    • Altitude: Around 15,000 ft (4,572 m)

Lachung to Gangtok

Excursion to Tsongmo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass (Optional), Then to Zuluk

Hee Bermiok to Pelling
